FAQ

port macquarie family photographer

How do your photo sessions work?

My aim during a photo session is to allow you and your family to be yourselves in order to capture photographs of your real life. I love to photograph life as it happens! I don't do a lot of posing, but I will give direction when it's needed to help you feel comfortable and get the best shots.

Where do you take photos?

I really enjoy natural light photography. I love to find out if there is a place that is special to my clients, whether it be their own home or out-and-about somewhere. Otherwise I make suggestions of some places I know and we go from there.

Do you have a studio?

No, I tried studio photography and found it just wasn't me. Square peg, round hole type thing. (Or is it the other way around?) There are some great studio photographers around Port Macquarie, if that's the style you're after.

How long after my photo shoot will I receive my photos?

Families, Engagements, Couples etc: Approximately 3 weeks.

Weddings: 6 weeks.

Where are you based out of?

Port Macquarie, New South Wales, Australia.

Are you willing to travel?

The amount of travel I can do is limited, due to the stage of life I’m in.. (I'm a mum to primary school aged kids).

However I am open to talking about it, so contact me with your idea and we’ll talk!

How do I book you?

Contact me and we'll talk sessions and dates and what would suit you best.

The booking process requires a signed photography contract and a retainer to reserve the date.

What camera do you use?

I’m a Sony girl. I currently use Sony a7iii cameras, and love them!

Do you bring back up equipment to weddings?

I always have 2 cameras and a variety of lenses with me.

Why the name “The Photo Trail”?

I love the idea of traveling through life, camera in hand, leaving a trail of photos as I go.. Capturing real people, real moments, real relationships and real life.
